Carers’ Allowance new income test 

 Carers' Allowance facing new income test  Laws halting carers allowances from households earning more than $250,000 have passed through parliament.  Carers with a household income of more than $250,000 a year will lose their government payments after draft laws passed parliament.  The change, which is set to start from September, is expected to affect 6500 recipients whose family income is above the new threshold, meaning they will no longer be eligible for the Carer Allowance and the children's Carer Allowance…
