🌟 The Growing Space believes that Support Coordination is the key to unlocking the NDIS’s potential for awesome goodness, inclusion, and potential.

⚠️ However, poor or misinformed Support Coordination can quickly diminish that potential.

💪 The course empowers coordinators to help people with disabilities lead good, ordinary, and extraordinary lives by understanding the NDIS’s flexibility, making it work, and embracing the responsibilities and potential of the role.

💼 The course is not about case management or social work, but rather applying existing skills effectively in the NDIS environment.

🔄 Previously held over two days, the revamped and updated every month course, now includes extra time to even better understand and deliver strong housing and good life outcomes for participants.

👥 Who is this Event for? This course targets people already working with disability service organizations providing or planning to provide Support Coordination services under the NDIS, especially those new to the role.

📅 About this Event: The intensive three-day course covers various topics, including navigating and informing participants, planning and guidance, researching and connecting, facilitating and coordinating, coaching and coordination, advocacy, negotiation, and mediation, technical advice, and reflecting and developing.

🏛️ Topics covered include legislation, reviews, EHO (Housing options), employment, onboarding, price guide and catalogue, and plenty of time for questions.

🏛️ WHAT: This course focuses on building capacity through innovative planning and supports.
👥 WHO: Limited to 20 people with prior knowledge of the NDIS.
📍 WHERE: Online via Zoom (video recording links provider after course).
📅 WHEN: Tuesday 16th July, Wednesday 17th July AND Thursday 18th July,
9:00 am – 4:00 pm ACST.
💰 COST: $1412.73 plus GST, includes extensive resources and guides.

🌈 For NDIS Participants and Nominees who self-manage, around 90% of the course is not directly “business” related and could be claimed from Self Managed NDIS plans and Plan Managed Plans.
