Organised Spaces

The Growing Space and Rebecca Mezzino from Declutter Coaching are running a webinar to help disabled people and their carers to declutter. You can book a seat right here!

It’s going to be on Monday morning 21st June.

I’d love you to join Rebecca and me, Sam Paior.

It will cost $55 to book and you need to pay with credit card only. We can’t hold places but if you reserve a spot you will get an invoice you can send to your Plan Manager (check with them first!).

Who is this Webinar for?

This webinar is for NDIS participants, as well as for nominees, families, support coordinators, support workers, service providers, and LACs who work with people who would like to declutter.

About this Webinar:

This webinar does not have a sexy name, but boy it is gonna be chock full of practical information to help neurodiverse people, including those with autism, intellectual disability, ABI and/or mental health support needs to have clearer spaces at home.

Sam Paior from The Growing Space will work with the fabulous Rebecca Mezzino from Declutter Coaching to understand the who, the why, the how and what to do to support changes, if and when needed. Rebecca will help us understand when things might or might not need a change, for those with neurodiversity and/or disability.

While the focus of the session will be for those with neurodiversity and disability, the information will be useful for anyone who wants to declutter or manage collecting and acquiring, while deeply respecting the person at the centre!

You can read a bit more about when neurodiverse people can be wrongly labelled as a “hoarder”. Check out her article here: http://rebeccamezzino.com.au/hoarding/masquerade-as-hoarding/

As Rebecca says – there’s no “right” or “wrong” when it comes to stuff, but there is helpful and unhelpful, and Rebecca and Sam will unpack this and work to be helpful for you and/or your carers.

The session will be a live one hour presentation followed by half an hour of interactive question and answers – and we’re happy to take your questions via email before the event.
