You can apply to BOOST Work Grants to give you 💲 money to help.

💼 What Are BOOST Work Grants?

💰 BOOST Work Grants give you up to $500.

🌈 This money is to help disabled people into work or start/keep your small business running.

🤝 Who Can Get the Grants?

✅ You can get a grant if you have a disability and want to work or start/keep a business.

🛠️ You can ask for money for things like:

  • 📲 Buying a Square reader for sales at markets.
  • 🖼️ Paying for framing your art to sell.
  • 🥾 Getting steel cap boots for landscaping work.
  • 💻 Purchasing software to manage your business online.
  • 🎨 Materials to make your products, like beads for jewelry.
  • 📈 Advertising to tell people about your business.

🔒 Keeping Your Info Safe

👀 Your application is private. Only The Growing Space and the panel who will choose our winners see it.

🏆 Winning the Grant

📅 Applications close on February 20th, 2024

📅 We will announce winners by March 31st, 2024.

📢 If you win, you will let us share your story and photos on social media.

💵 You will tell us how you used the money. No need for detailed reports.

💬 The Selection Panel

👥 The panel chooses who gets the grants.

🙌 More than half of the panel are people with disabilities. They understand microenterprise and employment.

⚖️ How many win depends on the money we raise and what you need.

📣 After Winning

🚫 All winners are final. We can’t talk about the choices after we announce.

🖱️ How to Ask for a Grant

  1. 📝 Fill in the Form: Click the link to tell us about you and why you need the money.
  2. 🔍 We Check Your Form: We will read your form to make sure everything is okay.
  3. 📨 We Decide: We will meet to decide and then tell you if you can get the money.
  4. 🎉 You Get the Money: If we say yes, we will give you the money to help with your work or business.
  5. 📸 If you win: We will arrange to get some photos, and maybe video and we will share your story and business on social media so you can sell more!
