When the phone rings and someone says they’re from the NDIS, it’s important to stay alert.

🕵️‍♂️ The NDIS calls from a “NO CALLER ID” number, but ANYONE can do that, so you need to make sure.

❓ Always double-check who’s calling.

🔒Protect yourself by not sharing personal information unless you’re 100% sure who you’re talking to.

📲 If you’re unsure, ask them to email you, or hang up and call the NDIS on their official number 1800 800 110. They can let you know if the call was real.

🚫 If you think you received a scam call, report it to the NDIS, police and Scamwatch.

⏰ Stay safe, stay informed, and remember – it’s okay to question and double-check!

🔒 When it comes to your information, it’s important to stay in control.

🤝 You have a right to ask your providers about how they’re keeping your information safe.

📋 Ask them to explain their privacy policy. Make sure they are doing all the checks before sharing your information.

👀 You have the power to say who can and who cannot access your details.

🚫 Remember, your information should never be shared without your permission.
