The Growing Space believe in inclusion for people with disability. That means inclusion in education, inclusion in the workplace, inclusion in the community and inclusion in family and relationships.

The Growing Space aim to help communities, schools, families, friends and workplaces become more inclusive through providing access and inclusive attitudes that support people with disability and their loved ones.

The Growing Space are passionate. Everyone who works with or for The Growing Space is a person with disability and/or a carer: from our cleaner, to admin, to our co-ordinators and volunteers. Everyone.

The Growing Space was founded as a Disability Advocacy and Information service in 2010, and has evolved into a group of passionate people with disability and carers serving others mainly through the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme).

The Growing Space and staff are founding members of the Self Direction Collaboration Network, a registered NDIS Provider for all levels of Support Coordination and Life Stages services, are advisors to the NDIS Independent Advisory Council Self Management Reference Group, and also belongs to National Disability Services and All Means All. Sam also sits on the ILC funded Steering group for Inclusive School Communities project and Monika is a member of the PBS Community of Practice Group.
